14 people charged by Turkish court in connection with Ankara attack

Ankara: 14 people are charged in connection with the last week’s suicide car bombing in Ankara. The court has ordered them jailed pending trial. Other seven were released without charge.

The group is suspected for aiding a terror organisation, forging official documents and fraud.

A Kurdish militant group has claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack in the Turkish capital Ankara which killed 28 people Wednesday.

Turkey has been pressing the U.S. to cut off support to the Kurdish Syrian militias, which Turkey regards as terrorists because of their affiliation with the PKK.

The blast was the second deadly bombing in Ankara in four months.
