Chandigarh: A 14-year-old girl gang raped and later brutally murdered by five accused.
According to the sources, the accused who were drunk was in an auto rickshaw attacked the girl and took her to an isolated place where they murdered her after raping.
Police soon after getting the information started search operation and arrested one of the accused Parveen Kumar who confessed that he was involved in the murder and rape. He took police to the place where they murdered the victim after raping her. He also helped police in recovering the victim’s dead body.
Police said that four out of the five accused have been arrested. Other three accused are Nitin, Deepak and Karan. Police said that one of the accused is a minor and further investigation is going on.
