Hyderabad: SR Nagar Police has booked an 18-yr-old boy for allegedly trying to kidnap a minor girl in Borabanda.
An 18-year-old youth was booked by SR Nagar police for allegedly trying to abduct a 14-year-old girl from his neighbourhood at Borabanda on Sunday.
The accused Sai hails from Indra Nagar near Boranbanda and the girl is a 14-yr-od tenth class student in Boranbanda. Both the families previously lived in Indra Nagar.
To prevent the boy from talking to their the girl’s family shifted to Borabanda.
But this did not stop Sai from approaching the girl. Furious at his action’s the family members of the girl’s family visited Sai’s parents that turned into issue between the two.
On her parents return to home the girl informed them about Sai’s attempt to force her to get along with him when she went out for a Xerox.
SR Nagar Inspector Md Waheeduddin said “The family members of the girl lodged a complaint against Sai and we have registered a case”.
A similar incident happened a week ago where SR Nagar police arrested a 21-yr-old youth John for allegedly biting the girl on her neck while riding the bike.
The family members filed a complaint against the youth for his action.
The 17-yr-old girl was riding with John along with a friend on a friends bike.
Police booked John under Section 365 (kidnapping) of the IPC and the POCSO Act, reported the sources.
