Hyderabad: Bhavani Nagar Police arrested two people who were involved in shifting of beef cattle. According to sources, beef cattle were being shifted to the city from Konda Mallepally, Nalgonda through a DCM van. Bhavani Nagar police stopped the DCM Van and found 12 beef cattle including 6 calves.
Police arrested Abdur Raheem alias Mohammed Raheemuddin (butcher) and van driver Mohammed Jahangir involved in shifting of beef cattle. Police has registered a case under Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and shifted the cattle to gaoshala.
