2 UP men arrested in visa scam

Hyderabad: Police on Wednesday arrested two persons from Uttar Pradesh for allegedly cheating a Hyderabadi to the tune of Rs 3.5 lakh by promising him a Singapore visa.

The accused Krishna Choudhary and Rohtash Pal, from Ghaziabad, took the money from one K. Krishna Mohan from Miyapur for “visa processing, medical examination and visa processing.”

Mohan lodged a complaint with the police saying that Global Tech Consultancy, a Delhi-based consultancy, had duped him of Rs 3.5 Lakhs. He alleged that even after waiting for over a year, he had not received the visa. His emails were not responded and calls were not attended by the suspects.
