2 mutavallis of Waqf institutions sacked

Hyderabad: Telangana Waqf Board has dismissed mutavallis of two Waqf institutions on the charges of alleged irregularities. Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Asadullah on the approval of Competent Authority of Waqf Board, Syed Omer Jaleel, issued suspension orders against the two mutavallis.

Fazalullah Quadri mutavalli of Dargah Hazrat Durvesh Muhiuddin located at Karwan and Ghulam Murtuza Siddiqua, mutavalli of Masjid Almas and Dargah Miskeen Shah located at Aliabad have been fired and Waqf Board took over the affairs of both the institutions. A complaint was received against mutavalli of Dargah Hazrat Durvesh Muhiuddin that he had sold 8 acre 24 guntas Waqf land of survey no 6-7/1 located at Kulsoompur to Dhannu Singh and Heera Singh.

Similarly two tenants had lodged complaints against the mutavalli of Masjid Almas and Dargah Miskeen Shah Aliabad. On conducting probe irregularities were found in the dealing regarding giving the shops on lease.
