2 women and MIM MLA candidate caught in drunken-driving case

Hyderabad: During a drive against drunken driving, Banjara Hills Traffic Police caught All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Z H Javeed for driving in an inebriated condition at Banjara Hills on Friday night. However he managed to escape.

Z H Javeed was the MIM candidate of Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency. He is said to be the member of Bar Council. He has also served as Waqf Board member.

Banjara Hills traffic inspector N Vidya Sagar who was on a drive against drunken drivers, stopped a car which was driven by Z H Javeed. When inspected he started arguing with the police. A case has been registered against him.

ZH Javeed has to say that police is trying to defame him. He declared himself innocent saying that said he has undergone test thrice.

But Circle Inspector Traffic Police Vidyasagar on the other hand told that all evidences are caught on cameras and police also took action with complete evidences. According to police Javeed’s breathalyser test turned out positive and his blood alcohol content (BAC) was 83 mg/100 ml against the permissible limit of 30 mg/100 mal.
