Amethi: Two youths were killed here when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on the Allahabad-Faizabad stretch of the national highway, police said.
SHO Piparpur JP Yadav said that the deceased have been identified as Brij Lal (35) and Anuj Chaurasiya (25), both residents of Kohraur village in Pratapgarh district.
The accident took place near Trishundi village late last evening as the duo were returning home from Sultanpur. The duo died on the spot while the truck driver fled the spot, added police.
