21 devotees hurt as RTC bus overturns at Jadcherla

Twenty-one devotees suffered injuries, including one grievously hurt, when an RTC hire special carrying 52 pilgrims to a pushkar ghat in Alampur, turned turtle at Munawar dhaba near Jadcherla town on the national highway on Tuesday morning.

 

The victims were traveling from Almaspur village under Yellareddi mandal of Karimnagar district in the ill-fated bus to go to Alampur pushkar ghat to have a sacred bath in the river Krishna when the mishap occurred. The bus overturned on the national highway when the bus driver attempted to prevent collision with a car speeding ahead. The injured were rushed to the government hospital at Badepalli. (NSS)
