Hyderabad youth robs 1.92 lakh from uncle to throw grand bachelor party

HYDERABAD: A 21-year- old sales executive arrested with his other three friends for stealing 1.92 lakh belonging to his employer on Thursday night.

Kiran Kumar who works as a salesman at his uncle’s wholesale stationary shop in Risala Abdullah near MJ Market was going to get married in March and wanted to throw a lavish bachelor party for his friends.To get money for the party, Kiran and his three friends set up the plan to rob his uncle.

Kiran collected `1.92 lakh cash from different clients of the employer on Thursday evening and returned empty handed to his uncle at Gowliguda. When asked about the money he plotted a story that he was robbed by two persons who came on the bike and snatched all his money.

Kiran’s’ uncle immediately lodged a complaint and the Police analyzed the CCTV footage of which was installed in Kiran’s travel route and identified that his friends were involved in the robbery plan.

Within 16 hours of the robbery complaint, Afzulgunj cops arrested Kiran’s friends Vijay Singh, Vishnu Prasad and a 17-year-old juvenile offender for participating in the fake robbery.

They also recovered the entire stolen money from them and produced them before the court.
