Akhlaq’s family got a new ray of hope on Monday after the 22 year old Danish stood up and walk for the first time ever since he was hospitalized. He is also put off the ventilator.
A week ago, Danish and his father was brutally beaten up by the angry mob for alleged beef eating. While Akhlaq dies on the spot, the 22 year old is battling for life at Kailash hospital in Noida.
“His condition is better now. We have given him water to drink. Due to severe injuries on his brain, we were afraid that he might lose his memory. But he recognized his brother and informed us about his education qualification as well,Dr Varun Bhargav, neurosurgeon from Kailash hospital told Mail Today.
“We are planning to move him out of the ICU in next 48-72 hours,” the doctor said.
“There is swelling in Danish’s brain but he is out of danger now,” his brother Sartaj said.
Danish was admitted in hospital with fractured skull with bleeding in the frontal lobe is in the Intensive Care Unit for the last one week. He already had two complicated brain surgeries. According to Sartaj, he had recently filled the form for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).
it was a matter of great pain for Sartaj, that something so horrifying could happen to his family. Demanding justice, he requested not to politicized the issue.
