The APSRTC officials here were making special arrangements for those returning to Hyderabad after Sankranti festival.
Disclosing this to mediapersons here on Saturday, APSRTC Vijayawada Zone executive director Venkateshwara Rao said arrangements were being made to run 250 special bus services to Hyderabad apart from the regular 246 Vijayawada-Hyderabad bus services being run from the Pandit Nehru Bus Station. He also said special bus services will be run to Chennai, Bengaluru, north Andhra and Rayalaseema districts.
Venkateshwara Rao has clarified that all the special bus service will be run after 8 pm. Stating that online seat reservation facility too has been made for special bus services, he made it clear that they would collect 50% additional charge from the commuters in the special bus services. (NSS)
