Hoshiarpur: Three persons, including two women, were killed while four injured today when their vehicle collided with a bus coming from opposite direction near Chabewal bus stand here, police said.
The accident took place when the bus driver allegedly lost control over the vehicle and collided with the SUV at around 8:30 in the morning, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Dilip Kaur (50) and Rajwinder Kaur (20) who died on the spot while the driver of the SUV, Gora (25) succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital, DSP (Chabewal), Hardeep Singh said.
The injured, Tarsem Singh, Amandeep Kaur, Balbir Kaur and Rajwant Kaur were admitted to a local hospital, he added.
