The world’s biggest retail organization Wall Mart vice-president Latin America and Africa CEO Enrique Ostale’ here on Tuesday called on MAUD Minister K Taramarama Rao and discussed about his company’s expansion plans.
Enrique Ostale told the minister that the Wall Mart has decided to open some more outlets in Hyderabad for which they have identified places in the city. Enrique Ostale has said apart from retail sector, they would also take up medical and technical training sector.
Welcoming Enrique Ostale, the minister assured all possible assistance for Wall Mart programs in the city. He also said kirana outlets manned by women will be launched shortly with an intention to make women the investors. The State government would sign an MoU with the Wall Mart in this regard. He also said his government would sign another MoU for raising fruits and vegetables through the Horticulture Corporation.
