3 Urdu cultural programmes have been finalised to mark ‘Jashn-e-Telangana’ on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day on June 2. Government has directed to organise 3 programmes on the same day. All India mushaira will be held at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium while the Qawwali programme will be held at Khilwat ground. Shaam-e-Ghazal will be held at Indore Stadium Lal Bahadur Stadium.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is being invited for the All India Mushaira while Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will preside over.
Secretary Director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor told that tenders have been invited for arrangements of the 3 programmes. Last year various cultural programmes were presented for 7 days in Urdu but this time government has directed to conduct all the 3 programmes on a single day which will make it impossible for Urdu lovers to attend all the 3 programmes.
