Jamshedpur: A 3-Year-Old girl died after she was allegedly slapped by her father in Naya Basti area on the outskirt of Jamshedpur, police said today.
Murli Patra, a daily wage labourer, allegedly slapped the girl yesterday when she did not stop crying, Deputy Superintendent of Police B N Singh said.
The girl fainted immediately after and was immediately rushed to Tata Main Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
The victim’s mother told police that the father used to beat up the girl frequently. The father was arrested said police.
