Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said the staff of NAREGA other than field assistants, will also get 30 per cent hike in salaries against the previous hike of 20 per cent.
Recently the Chief Minister offered 30 per cent hike to SERP staff and 20 per cent hike to NAREGA staff. Since the 20 per cent hike is not more, KCR reconsidered it to increased it on par with SERP staff. NAREGA field assistants’ salaries were hiked to Rs 10000 from the previous Rs 6000. With this, the staff of SERP and NAREGA will get equal pay hike, a CMO release said. (NSS)
