Minority Welfare Department faces lack of staff for effective implementation of Shaadi Mubarak scheme introduced to provide financial assistance to poor minority girls at the time of their marriage. Due to staff crunch to scrutinise the applications in Hyderabad and Rangareddy the pending applications are increasing day by day. Government had announced to associate 10 employees of minority institutions with Shaadi Mubarak Scheme in Hyderabad and Rangareddy but the employees have not been appointed so far as a result over 3000 applications are pending, including 2285 of Hyderabad and 918 of Rangareddy.
