305 criminals arrested in Ghaziabad in three days

Ghaziabad: 305 criminals were nabbed in the last three days under ‘Operation Kickout’ in the district which has been launched in a bid to improve law and order situation, police said today.
District police chief Dharmendra Yadav had launched the operation in all police stations on November 14 to nab absconding criminals under which 305 criminals have been arrested till today, Public Relation Officer of district police, Subodh Saxena said. Teams from all police stations raided probable hideouts and arrested three criminals wanted in loot cases, eight for murders, 11 for rapes, four for dowry-deaths, 19 booked under the Gangster Act and four lodged under the SC/ST Act, Saxena said. Police also nabbed 169 persons having non-bailable warrants against them for evading appearance before courts, he said. One externed criminal was arrested for living surreptitiously in the district, he said.
86 criminals wanted in other cases at various police stations were also arrested, the PRO said.
