4 dignitaries were to address the “unemployment rally”, who was terrorist among them? asks Kodandaram to govt.

Hyderabad: Flaying the state government and police for doing all they could to suppress “unemployment rally” seeking jobs for the unemployed youth, Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram asked, why the government did not permit the unemployed youth demanding employments to take out the rally? What information the police had about the rally? Were the terrorists or extremists going to attend the rally?. He said only 4 people including Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing editor Siasat Daily, Prof. Har Gopal, Prof. Chukka Ramaiah and he himself were to address the rally. He questioned who among the four belongs to terrorists or extremists which forced the police to unleash its forces to curb the rally and cause anger among students.

Kodandaram said despite revealing the names of the speakers of the rally, government and police’s behaviour was incomprehensive. He told that the people invited by the Telangana Joint action Committee were not unknown but were Telangana protagonist. They have a key position in society. Talking to those who visited him in the police station Prof. Kodandaram told that police behaved with employment seekers in a way as if they were terrorists.

Prof. Kodandaram said government should have clarified to whom it was referring to, when it said extremists and terrorists. Does the government term those who demand employment as extremists? Is the government scared of those who are raising voice for unemployed youth?
