4TV videographer admits video recording of attack on Akbar Owaisi

Hyderabad: Hearing of Chandrayangutta attack case continued on Wednesday during which 4tv videographer recorded his statement in the Court. 27-year-old, Shaikh Saleem R/O Falaknuma told that he has been working as videographer in the said TV channel since 2008. He mostly covers MIM party programmes. He admitted that on April 30, 2011, on the direction of News TV correspondent SM Rafi, he went to Barkas to cover MIM programme to be held at 8:30 where MIM MLA Chandrayangutta Akbaruddin Owaisi had reached to inaugurate the construction of wall to cordon off the graveyard. While passing by Barkas Mandi he had also reviewed the preparation of meeting scheduled to be held in Kottapet.

On their way, Akbar Owaisi and Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala halted at party office in Barkas and had tea there. The videographer told that he was waiting for them outside. After nearly 15- 20 minutes both the MLAs came out of the office and proceeded further in the jeep of Chandrayangutta MLA. The videographer told that in a short while he heard shouting, screaming and firing and he started recording the scene. The witness informed that supporters of Mohammed Pahelwan began attacking Chandrayangutta MLA and he recording the whole incident. Later Akbar Owaisi was shifted to Owaisi Hospital in the gypsy.
