Telangana Hajj Committee has so far received 9823 applications for Hajj 2016. Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that submission of application began on January 14 and 9823 applications were received till date.7087 applications were received from Hyderabad while 2736 applications were received from districts. He further informed that February 8 is the last date and Central Hajj Committee has planned no further extension.
Prof. Shukoor told that more than 16 special counters have been set up at Hajj house for the convenience of Hajj aspirants where guidance is provided for filling the form. Free Xerox facility is also available.
