AAP demands sacking of Union Minister VK Singh

Aam Aadmi Party MLA(Malviya Nagar, New Delhi) and party south India incharge Somnath Bharti on Thursday demanded the sacking of Union Minister V K Singh for his remark that retired army subedar Ram Kishan who committed suicide demanding One Rank One Pension in Delhi was mentally ill.

Speaking at a protest meet in front of the District Collectorate in Karimnagar on Thursday, AAP MLA said that the Modi government has insulted the army by not fulfilling its promise of OROP. He said that on one hand Modi government politicizes surgical strikes by claiming it an achievement of the government and on the other it insults the army by not implementing OROP.

Bharti slammed the KCR government saying that it ditched farmers and students community by not implementing the poll promises. He said the students who are on the verge of losing academics due to pending fee reimbursement for two years, will teach TRS a befitting lesson in next Assembly election if it failed to solve the pending issues of students immediately.

The AAP MLA said that the Modi government and the KCR government fooled the people by promising development and is now serving the interests of industrialists and corporates.

Later the AAP delegation led by party MLA Somnath Bharti met District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed and submitted a memorandum demanding the state government to release fee reimbursement dues immediately.
