Hyderabad: Home Minister, Mr. Narasimha Reddy informed that the file pertaining to the release of former police constable, Abdul Qadeer has been sent to Governor of Telangana State for his approval. He disclosed this in Assembly while replying to the budget proceedings. He also informed that such of the prisoners who have exhibited good character during their imprisonment will also be released after getting approval of the Governor.
After the recruitment in the police departments, policemen would be given weekly holidays. Steps will also be taken to convert the post of sub-Inspector of Police as a Gazette Officer. The traffic problems in the city will also receive special attention soon.
