Hyderabad: Ruler of Abu Dhabi Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has sent special gift of dates for the devotees of Makkah Masjid for breaking fast during the month of Ramadan. Authorities of Abu Dhabi consulate in Kerala called on Superintendent Makkah Masjid Abdul Qadeer Siddiqui and presented 530 kgs of dates sent by Abu Dhabi ruler.
This is the first time that sultan of Abu Dhabi has sent date gift for devotees of historic Makkah Masjid. It must be note that nearly 4 to 5 thousand devotees break their fast daily at Makkah Masjid during Ramadan. Besides these state government has also allotted one thousand dates for Makkah Masjid for one month which were imported from Kuwait.
