ABVP demands CBI probe in EAMCET paper leak

Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) has demanded that the State government order a CBI inquiry into the EAMCET-II paper leakage and go into the role of one corporate college in the episode.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, ABVP State secretary Ayyappa alleged that EAMCET-II paper leakage was a big scam held under supervision of big hands. “Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was in a hurry to announce EAMCET-III examination only to shield his Ministers. KCR was concentrating on protecting big persons involved in the scam instead of finding the culprits through CID investigation”. He also alleged that the government was troubling 2,000 rankers only to protect the ministers concerned and others. The government was trying to cover up its failures by forcing the students to write EAMCET examination for the third time, he charged.

Stating that there was a rule that the government should not make one person as a convener of the EAMCET for more than three times and not to assign printing work to any printing press  for more than once, he said the Telangana government violated the rules and retained Prof. Ramanarao as convener for the seventh time.

He said real culprits will come out only when CBI investigated the leakage scam. The ABVP leader made it clear that they will stop agitation only if the Chief Minister dropped two ministers and two higher officials from their positions. ABVP leaders Dilip, Venugopal and others were present. (NSS)
