Asifabad: A Speeding van (AP15Y 8490) overturned after one of the rear tyre burst, killing one and injuring twenty on Friday at Jendaguda of Asifabad Mandal.
According to the police, no other vehicles appeared to have been involved in the accident.
The injured were on their way to attend an engagement function at Agarguda of Kerameri mandal.
Circle inspector Satish Kumar inspected the spot and the injured were immediately rushed to the Asifabad government hospital later shifted to Mancherial government hospital for better treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Rattu Bhai(55). The police refused to elaborate more as they have not received any more information on the deceased
