AIMMO slams KCR for not fulfilling 12% quota to Muslims

All India Muslim Minority Organisation Chairman Sayyed Mukthar Hussain and Andhra Pradesh Minority Commission former member MA Siddiqui have alleged that the schemes being implemented in Telangana State for Minorities’ welfare were stalled.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Hussain and Siddiqui have alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who promised 12 percent reservation to the Muslims if he came to power, has forgotten about it. They warned they would launch protests at Indira Park if the government failed to resolve their justifiable demands.

Alleging that Rs 40,000 crore worth Wakf assets were going into the hands of others, Hussain and Siddiqui demanded that the government order an inquiry into the issue by a sitting Judge. Reminding that Ranganath Mishra and Sachar Committees submitted their recommendations on the development of backward Muslims long ago, Hussain and Siddiqui said the rulers were not implementing the recommendations of the Committees.

They also alleged that the poor Muslim minorities were not getting loans for the last two years in Telangana State; more so corruption prevailed in the Corporation in a big way.
