Airbus has expansion plans in India

Hyderabad: The Airbus Group India president Pierre de Bausset today met Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma at the secretariat.

The Chief Secretary explained about the new industrial policy and the incentives provided by the State government for setting up industries in the State. He said Telangana is the most preferred destination for investment. The Chief Secretary also briefed about the aerospace policy, the potential of the State in the aviation sector and the steps being taken by the State government to make the state a global manufacturing hub in the aviation
sector.
Pierre de Bausset briefed the Chief Secretary about the Airbus group, their activities in India and likely action plan for coming years. He mentioned that India plays a key role in Airbus future expansion plans. Bausset appreciated the aerospace ecosystem in the State of Telangana. Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shanthi Kumari, Industries Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, Airbus India Vice President Ashish Saraf were also present. (NSS).
