Hajj applications last date tomorrow – No extension possible

Hyderabad: According to a press note by Special Officer of Telangana State Hajj Committee, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, the last date of submission of applications for Hajj Season 2016 is Monday, 15th February. There is no possibility of extension of last date.

 

Prof. Shukoor further told that facilities have been provided for the Hajj pilgrims for filling up Hajj applications and photocopying of documents free of cost at Hajj House. He also mentioned that so far 17600 applications have been received. He informed that the Hajj pilgrims of the reserved category have to submit their original passports along with their Hajj applications.

 

Telangana State Hajj Committee is arranging the facilities for the Hajj pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh also. Draw will be held anytime between 15th March and 23rd March. Such of the pilgrims who have been selected in the first draw will have to deposit the first installment before 8th April. Passport, Bank Challan and Medical certificate could be submitted before 15th April.

 

Prof. Shukoor further informed that Hajj is scheduled to be held on 10th September this year. Chartered flights would take the Hajj pilgrims from 4th August to 5th September. The Hajj pilgrims of the first phase would proceed to Madina and those of the second phase would fly directly to Makkah. The return trips of the Hajj pilgrims would start from 15th September.
