Hyderabad: Mr. A.K Khan, IPS, DGP of ACB will be retiring at the end of this year. There seems to be no possibility of extension of his services. He is likely to get Rajya Sabha seat.
It may be mentioned that Mr. Khan has been successful in the establishment of Minorities Residential schools. He was also responsible for exposing scams in Shaadi Mubarak Scheme.
It may be mentioned that recently, CM had invited some members of Muslim community on the occasion of Dasehra. In that meeting he had hinted at nominating Muslim MP and MLCs.
It is understood that is seriously considering the name of Mr. A.K. Khan for nominating him to Rajya Sabha. CM is likely to take a decision soon.
