Hyderabad: Interrogation on the former ACP of Santosh Nagar, Mr. Shaik Ismail continued on the 5th day also. He informed that by the time he reached the spot, the members of Clues Team were waiting for him. They took fingerprints in his presence and later, photographs of the incident were taken. He said that he cannot give the exact number of photographs. He was posed with many questions. The witness told that photos were taken after collecting the material. He also said that two persons clad in police uniform were found at the spot of incident but he cannot identify them. In the photographs taken, there is no member of investigation team.
He also informed that in the evidence produced in the court, the vehicle of the TV Channel is also shown. He told that he was present on the spot of incident from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. The staff of Clues Team was present and all of them reached Owaisi Hospital.
Giving the details of the incident, he told that the spot of incident is located between MIM office and Marhaba Hotel. Mr. Ismail told that he cannot identify the members of Clues Team and Photographers.
Replying to the interrogation questions, he said that the then DCP of Police, South Zone, Mr. Madhusudhan Reddy had instructed him to conduct investigations. There was no other Investigating Officer present before he was made incharge of investigation team. He informed that the five witnesses, members of Clues Team and fingerprint experts reached Owaisi Hospital for the second time along with Addl. Inspector of Police, Santosh Nagar, Mr. Yadaiah. He told that Panchnama of Gypsy Vehicle was recorded. He reached medical ward at 6 p.m. Six injured persons were admitted in hospital, out of them 5 were in male medical ward and Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi was in operation theater. He also told that Mansoor, Mahmood, Habeeb Osman, Mohammed Faiyaz Khan, Mohsin bin Ahmed Al Kasiri and Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi were admitted in the hospital in the injured condition. Mr. Ismail told that he could not contact the doctors who were treating them since he was not available. He refuted the charge that he did not visit Owaisi hospital. During the interrogation, he told the court that the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital informed him that the banyan and shirt of Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi were torn out and lost. He told that the black belt and pants of Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi, MLA were seized. He said that he is unable to say whether the pants were an ordinary one or jeans. The proceedings of the court continued till 6 p.m. The judge adjourned the interrogation till today. Mohammed bin Omer Yafai and his family members were shifted to Cherlapally Jail in tight security.
