Hyderabad: The hearing of Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case began yesterday at the court of VII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Nampally Criminal Court. Mohammed Pahelwan was produced in the court. The statement of the complainant, Mansoor bin Mohammed Aulaqui was recorded. He narrated the details of the attack.
It may be noted that he had lodged a complaint in Chandrangutta Police Station. The police had register a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder), Section 120 – B (Criminal Conspiracy) and Indian Arms Act on 30th April 2011. Central Crime Station of Hyderabad City Police had filed charge sheet against Mohammed Pahelwan and other members of his family. Allegations were also framed against them. The statement of another witness will be recorded tomorrow.
It may be mentioned that under the orders of Supreme Court, the proceedings of this case should be completed within 6 months. In compliance with these orders, the lower court is hearing this case daily.
