Akbaruddin Owaisi Attack Case: Inspector Narsing Yadaiah interrogated

Hyderabad: During the hearing of Akbaruddin Owaisi Attack Case in Chandrayangutta, Prosecution Lawyer interrogated inspector of Police Narasingh Yadaiah at the VIII Addl. Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s court. During the course of interrogation, Yadaiah told that he had reached Owaisi Hospital after the attack where he seized the blood-stained clothes of Akbaruddin Owaisi. On asking by the lawyer B. Rajvardhan Reddy, Inspector Yadaiah told that he was not aware whether the seized blood stained clothes belonged to Akbaruddin Owaisi or not since he had obtained these clothes along with ACP Santosh Nagar and CMO of Owaisi Hospital. When the lawyer repeated this question, the witness told that he did not know whether these were the clothes of Mr. Owaisi. He further told that ACP Santosh Nagar was the investigating officer and the clothes were seized under his supervision.

He also confirmed that from the knife, revolver and cricket bat, he had taken fingerprints. He clarified that he had prepared Panch Nama on the instructions from ACP Santosh Nagar.

When Advocate G. Guru Murthy interrogated him, Mr. Yadaiah told that on the day of attack at 12 noon, he had reached Owaisi hospital where he stayed along with ACP Santosh Nagar till 2 p.m. He further told that he did not know on which floor of the hospital, the clothes were seized. He informed that on 30th April 2011, Sub-Inspector of Police of Chandrayangutta had handed over the file of this case to him which he passed on to ACP Santosh Nagar. He also informed that he was unaware of the photos and video films taken by the close team on the spot of attack. The inspector further told that on the day of attack, he had gone to Owaisi hospital again at the evening time. He made an attempt to take finger prints of Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi from his Gypsy Car but he could not succeed. Inspector pleaded ignorance that the brass piece of the jacket was seized from the Gypsy Car. He told that he had taken the signatures of CMO of Owaisi hospital. He mentioned that he is aware that Ibrahim bin Younus Yafai died of bullet firing and he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital for treatment. He contradicted that he is making a false statement in the court at the instance of higher senior police officials.
