Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Friday said that all eyes were set on the outcome of by-elections for Warangal Lok Sabha.
Addressing an election meeting of TRS candidate P. Dayakar in Qazipet, KTR said while the entire country has set its eyes on activities in Telangana, the entire State has set its eyes on the results of Warangal by-polls. He appealed to the people to vote in favour of TRS candidate to strengthen the TRS Government. He said that the Telangana has been emerging as a welfare State in the entire where lakhs of old age people, widows and physically handicapped person were being paid monthly pensions. He said that the government was paying Rs. 51,000 for the marriages of poor SC, ST and minorities girls.
KTR said that the State Government took up many welfare initiatives during the last 16 months of its rule. (INN)
