Allegations are baseless, AAP is shooting in the dark: Hockey India President

New Delhi: Hockey India president Narinder on Friday rubbished Aam Admi Party’s accusation that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had put pressure on ONGC to give an amount of Rs 5 crore to the national federation, terming the allegation as “baseless”.

“The allegations are baseless. They (AAP) are shooting in the dark. I won’t like to comment any further on this topic right now. But when the appropriate time comes I will address the media with proof,” Batra told PTI. AAP leader Ashutosh today accused Jaitley of putting pressure on ONGC to give an amount of Rs 5 crore to Hockey India and also sought to know the reason behind the grant.

In fresh tirade against Jaitley relating to allegations of corruption in Delhi’s cricket body DDCA under his watch, the AAP leader also asked the Union Finance Minister to disclose his close relationship with Batra.
