Allegations against my son ‘politically motivated’: Andhra minister

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu on Sunday dubbed the allegation made against his son, who has been booked for eve-teasing, as ‘false, fabricated and politically motivated’.

Kishore Babu said it is a conspiracy hatched by YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his party against his son Susheel.

“The allegations against my son (Susheel) are false, fabricated and politically motivated. If you (Jaganmohan Reddy) want to politically fight me, fight me directly. Not indirectly at the cost of career and life of my son, who is innocent,” Kishore Babu told ANI here.

“This kind of political vendetta and political conspiracy should not involve innocent people,” he added.

Susheel was earlier in the day arrested by the Hyderabad Police after he surrendered in the Jubilee Hills Police Station for allegedly stalking a woman in Banjara Hills area.

The Hyderabad Police had yesterday served notice under Section 41 A of Code of Criminal Procedure to Susheel for allegedly misbehaving with a woman.

The incident took place on Thursday evening in the posh Banjara Hills neighbourhood when Susheel sitting in his car allegedly intercepted a woman, held her hand and tried to drag her inside.

“They held my hand and asked me to get into the car, I somehow escaped and complained to my husband who recognized them and made the locals beat him up. Then we complained to the police after which I came to know that he is the son of a minister,” the complainant said.

The woman said the driver passed lewd comments and both of them asked her to sit in the car. (ANI)
