Alphabet to sell Boston Dynamics: Reports

New Delhi : Technology giant Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc has put Boston Dynamics for sale due to lack of revenue potential, reports suggest.

The possible buyers include Amazon.com Inc and Toyota Motor Corp’s research and development company Toyota Research Institute (TRI), Reuters quoted the Bloomberg.

Boston Dynamics, bought by Alphabet in 2013, is best known for building robots and are often co-developed or funded by the US military.

Boston Dynamics is an engineering and robotics design company that is best known for the development of BigDog, a quadruped robot designed for the U.S. military with funding from Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). (ANI)
