Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, became the world’s second richest person with the $1.5 billion adding to his net worth. He had beaten up the Amancio Ortega and Warren Buffett by becoming the world’s second-richest person.
According to Gadgets now, the changes occurred as buy Souq.com (the Middle East’s largest online retailer) plans were announced by the company.
“Bezos has a net worth of $75.6 billion on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, $700 million more than Berkshire Hathaway Inc’s Buffett and $1.3 billion above Ortega, the founder of Inditex SA and Europe’s richest person,” according to Bloomberg.
This year Bezos added huge amount of wealth, $10.2 billion and $7 billion since the election rally of Donald Trump as US president on November 8.
As per Bloomberg this increase is the third largest on the calculation index in 2017, Chinese billionaire Wang Wei’s $18.4 billion gain and $11.4 billion rise for Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Bezos is $10.4 billion behind then the the world’s richest person, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates
