Hyderabad: Telangana Urdu Forum-Mazhar Educational Society and Era Talent School will celebrate Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Day. Long pending issues of Urdu language, like making it a job-oriented language, including Urdu script on RTC boards, acceptance of Urdu applications in all government departments, establishment of Urdu Open Schools, recruitment of Urdu teachers especially in aided schools, release of grants, appointment of Urdu translators, teaching Urdu as a subject in private English schools and recognising the role played by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad during freedom struggle.
Mr. Syed Fasihullah Secretary Air Talent School told that Urdu Conference and Maulana Azad Day will be organised on Wednesday, November 16, at Air Talent School, Pillar no 233, at 10 am. Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali Deputy Chief Minister Telangana will inaugurate the conference.
