Amer Ali Khan denies political motivation behind Muslim Reservation Movement

Muslim community has God gift potentials; it just needs proper guidance which it didn’t get since independence. Siasat Daily is continuously striving to pave the way for community’s development so that Muslim community can restore its lost glory. These views ere expressed by Mr. Amer Ali Khan, news editor Siasat. He was addressing a grand public meeting held here at Narayanpet, Mahboob Nagar district in connection with the movement for 12 percent Muslim reservations in Telangana state.

Prominent religious, literary and political personalities attended the grand meeting. Mr. Amer Ali Khan said that Islam teaches tolerance and brotherhood. Citing a Hadeeth he said ‘He is not a believer whose stomach is full while his neighbour is hungry. He quoted several Ahadeeth during his speech which endorsed that Islam is a humanitarian religion. He urged Muslims to live their lives in the light of Quran and Sunnah.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan once again clarified that 12 percent Muslim Reservation Movement is neither politically motivated nor he has any personal interest in it. He only seeks Muslim interest from that. He further stated that 5 lakh Muslim families can benefit from it if reservation is ensured this year. He informed that the next hearing for Muslim reservation is on April 18 and government is dependent on Sudhir Commission report. He advised Chief Minister to provide reservation beforehand on the recommendation of BC Commission as Muslims of Telangana have no trust in central government and their fear is well-founded.
