Amit Shah ask party MPs, MLAs to join relief work in flood-hit states

New Delhi: BJP President Amit Shah asked the party’s elected representatives besides other leaders and workers to join the relief and rescue operations in the flood-hit states.

Expressing his deep concern over floods in states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Assam and Uttarakhand, Shah spoke to chief ministers in states ruled by the party and asked them to speed up efforts to bring succour to people.

He also spoke to party chiefs in all these states and asked them to join the relief and rescue operations, an official statement said.

Shah said the people affected by the natural disaster would be provided all possible facilities and condoled the deaths of people in the tragedy.
