Phagwara: BJP President Amit Shah will arrive on a two-day visit to Punjab next month as part of his 95-day country-wide tour which began in Jammu last month.
According to Union Minister Vijay Sampla, who is also the president of the BJP’s Punjab unit, Shah will be in Punjab on June 28 and 29.
Shah may also address party workers at Amritsar and Jalandhar, Sampla said.
“The venues will be finalised in a meeting of the party’s general secretaries,” he however added.
Shah is travelling across states to strategise and find ways to strengthen the party at the grass-roots level with an eye on the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
