Telangana BJP President Dr. K. Lakshman has claimed that the visit of party’s national president Amit Shah to the State would not only benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party, but it will also benefit the State.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, Lakshman said that while Amit Shah’s visit would strengthen the BJP in the State, it would also bring Telangana closer to Central Government. He said Amit Shah could be instrumental in getting new projects and funds sanctioned for Telangana. Therefore, he said BJP was treating Amit Shah’s visit as historic.
Lakshman said that TRS Government has shattered the dreams of people of Telangana during the last three years. He said Amit Shah’s would help in revival and fulfilment of those dreams. He said Nalgonda was picked for Amit Shah’s visit as it was the most backward district in the country which was revealed in a survey conducted by the Central Government. He said Amit Shah would have direct interaction with farmers, Tribals and other sections to learn about their problems. (INN)
