Anti-India slogans at PCI: SAR Geelani detained

New Delhi: Delhi University professor SAR Geelani was on Monday night detained by the Delhi police in the case of sedition over ‘anti-India’ slogans raised during an event at the Press Club of India (PCI) on February 10.
A group, which was allegedly led by Geelani, had shouted slogans hailing Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru during a public meeting at the Press Club on February 10.

The police had lodged an FIR against Geelani and other unnamed persons under various sections of the IPC in connection with the event at the Press Club. (ANI)
