AP DGP’s Camp Office opened at Vijayawada

Andhra Pradesh State Director General of Police (DGP) J.V. Ramudu today inaugurated his camp office here. The DGP performed puja and later entered his office. The camp office is situated near the Chief Minister’s camp office. The present Officers’ Club building has been converted into DGP camp office.

To start with, the DGP will work from his new camp office here for two days in a week. Additional DGPs R.P. Thakur, D. Gautam Sawang, Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, N.V. Surendra Babu, A.R. Anuradha and A.B. Venkateswara Rao, IGP, DIGs, SPs of districts were among those present on the occasion.

Soon after entering the new office, the DGP held a meeting and reviewed the law and order situation with the intelligence officials, senior police officers and SPs. It is stated that they also discussed issues like red sanders smuggling, Chittoor mayor Katari Anuradha and her husband Mohan Rao’s murder and other important cases. (NSS)
