AP Govt mourns Jayalalithaa

As a respect to departed soul of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, the Andhra Pradesh Government today observed a two-minute silence at 12 noon and paid rich tributes to her.

Expressing grief, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said: “In deep anguish over the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, a long-time friend and a leader with an indomitable spirit, who was loved by all, I convey my deepest condolences to her party leaders and people of Tamil Nadu. She will remain in our memories as the leader, who truly cared for poor people.” (NSS)
