London, Aug. 8 : The father of the Palestinian toddler killed last week after their home was firebombed by Jewish extremists, succumbed to his injuries in an Israeli hospital, confirmed a Palestinian official.
According to the BBC, Saad, the toddler’s father, was being treated for third-degree burns but his condition was quite ‘critical’.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official for the north of the West Bank, has said that plans are “underway” for Saad’s funeral in Nablus.
The condition of the toddler’s mother and four-year-old brother have also been reported to be ‘life-threatening’.
The sleeping toddler was burnt to death when the assailants had set fire to two Palestinian homes in the West Bank , critically wounding the child’s sibling and parents.
The arson attack that killed 18-month-old Ali Saad Dawabsha and destroyed his family has created a worldwide rage over Israel’s failure to curb violence by hardline Jewish settlers. (ANI)
