Asaduddin Owaisi’s reaction on Sonu Nigam’s “Azaan on loudspeaker” issue

Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM Chief and MP of Hyderabad today reacted on Sonu Nigam’s “Azaan on loudspeaker” issue.

According to the news published in India Today, Asaduddin Owaisi while addressing a public meeting at Okhla in Delhi questioned that why Sonu Nigam’s sleep is not disturbed when poor Dalits of Una were striped and beaten up? He also questioned why he has a problem with Azaan?

Asaduddin Owaisi further said that few people created controversy over two minutes Azaan. He suggested them to come out of apartments and understand the uniqueness of India.

Talking on the diversity of India, Owaisi said that in India, before sunrise, prayers are offered in temples, Gurudwara, Church and similarly Azaan is given.

It is to be mentioned that Sonu Nigam earlier tweeted, “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India”

He also tweeted on temple and gurudwara. He said, “I don’t believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don’t follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True?”
