Chennai:Two days after the driver of an ATM cash transit vehicle fled with Rs 1.18 crore here, an accomplice of him was arrested today, police said.
Driver Isakki Pandian of a cash management company had fled with Rs 1.18 crore cash, meant to be deposited in ATMs of a nationalised bank, and abandoned the vehicle later on Monday.
Police said they arrested an accomplice of Pandian here and further investigations were on.
Several special teams were on a hunt to nab Pandian, they added.
